Verizon lists 9 currently available jobs with diverse requirements

Verizon Communications might not seem like the most worker-friendly place for at least some employees, but the telecommunications giant remains one of the largest employers in the country, counting more than 176,000 people on its payroll.

The company recently released a list of nine “surprising careers” – and open positions – at the company highlighting the evolving nature of the telecom space and increased reliance on software and technology. The list includes the positions and Verizon’s description of what those jobs entail.
