MONTREAL-Wavesat Inc., which develops OFDM broadband wireless access silicon solutions, said it has entered a cooperative agreement with ZTE Corp. of Shenzhen, China.
The agreement calls for ZTE to evaluate Wavesat’s DM256 chip.
“We will test and evaluate Wavesat’s DM256 chip and we believe the cooperation will benefit developing ZTE’s next-generation fixed-broadband wireless access systems,” said Jiongyi Fan, general product manager of BWA at ZTE.
