Callino selects Alcatel LMDS equipment

PARIS-Alcatel said it will supply $61 million worth of local multipoint distribution service equipment to Callino (Switzerland) Ltd. for deployment throughout Switzerland. Callino, a wholly owned subsidiary of Formus Communications, purchased a national wireless local loop license in the Swiss auction last year.
