The Spanish internet of things specialist already has 40 cloud platforms integrated with its IoT gateway
Spanish wireless sensor maker Libelium has added new partners to its internet of things (IoT) ecosystem, which focuses on IoT verticals including utilities, smart cities and agriculture.
The Spanish firm said it has already reached 40 cloud platforms integrated with its IoT gateway Meshlium.
Swedish vendor Ericsson is among the new members of the Libelium Cloud partner program. Libelium has also integrated infiswift, a U.S.-based internet of things platform specialized for solar photovoltaic monitoring and precision farming, C2M, a three layered IoT and digital transformation platform, and Redd System, a company focused on delivering telemetry and tele-control solutions.
These new partners have joined existing cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Arrow, Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix, Indra, Telefonica, Telit and Thingworx with which Libelium has already developed projects in more than 120 countries.
“Big players have realized that the IoT market is not going to be dominated by a single company. The great interoperability of our IoT platform allows them to access to new market opportunities by connecting any sensor to any cloud platform through any communication protocol“, Libelium’s CEO, Alicia Asín, said.
Libelium also unveiled five new solutions ready to be deployed through the IoT Marketplace, an initiative launched 15 months ago that currently offers 60 kits in verticals such as Smart Agriculture, Air Quality, Smart Water, Smart Cities, Smart Parking or Industry 4.0 to boost the adoption of IoT.
The new solutions include Techedgem a solution which enables customized configuration with the hardware necessary to connect any industrial infrastructure; Aerostate, an Air Quality Solution Kit to monitor air quality in real-time in cities; Libelium-JT-AWS-Devicepilot Development Kit, a ready-to-be-deployed solution with JT connectivity, Amazon connector and Devicepilot universal platform to visualize information; Libelium-Rayven Development Kit, which allows to develop solutions based on Rayven horizontal platform; and Libelium Smart Industrial Protocols IoT Vertical Kit, which allows connect any sensor to an existing RS 485 industrial bus.
