NEW DELHI -(Dow Jones)- India’s telecommunications regulator will send its proposals to formulate a single country policy on setting up tower infrastructure to the government next week, Chairman J.S. Sarma said Thursday.
Sarma, however, didn’t elaborate on the details of the proposals. The regulator has been mulling bringing telecom tower companies under the licensing regime and offering tax incentives.
