Verizon Wireless is merging its online tools for business subscribers. The carrier, working alongside parent company Verizon Communications Inc.’s Verizon Business division, has launched Verizon Enterprise Center (VEC) a unified online tool for large-business customers.
The new portal is made of the two former online business options. Previously, Verizon Business customers would log into Verizon Business Customer Care, while Verizon Wireless customers used My Business. In Verizon Wireless’s efforts to hone in on self service, the new center provides a single spot for subscribers to manage their services and receive real-time customer care. Once inside the Verizon Enterprise Center, business customers have access to new features including: the VEC Dashboard, updated repairs homepage, advanced e-commerce solutions and account management.
For environmentally conscious businesses, eliminating paper and costly storage by using the online billing and account access is another foreseen benefit from VEC.
