Sprint Nextel Corp. and MobileAccess have been chosen to deploy in-building wireless technology at the M Resort, Spa and Casino during the Las Vegas resort’s construction phase.
Sprint Nextel will deliver a communications system for M Resort that will allow integrated access to wireless voice and data services, mobile devices and laptops throughout the resort property, said the companies. Sprint’s Converged Network Solutions team selected the MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network as its in-building wireless platform for the project.
The M Resort covers nearly 2 million square feet, including 92,000 square feet of gaming areas and 60,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. The wireless network will cover 390 guest rooms, restaurants, the resort’s spa and gaming areas.
