STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson improved its CDMA profile with two contracts, one for CDMA2000 1x in India and the other for CDMA2000 450 MHz technology. Ericsson signed with Shyam Telecom in India for a 1x wireless infrastructure solution in India’s Rajasthan circle. The contract includes core and radio network equipment as well as professional services like training, network rollout and technical support.
Separately, Ericsson signed frame deals to supply and test CDMA2000 450 MHz terminals with handset makers AnyDATA, Axesstel and Ubiquam.
