ATLANTA-AirGate PCS Inc. reported that vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary Barbara Blackford is leaving the company to become general counsel for Superior Essex Inc. AirGate said it has retained Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker L.L.P. for legal services until it recruits a new general counsel.
