Everypath unveils MTA 5.0

SANTA CLARA, Calif.-Mobile task automation software provider Everypath Inc. this week unveiled version 5.0 of its MTA offering. The next-generation product includes new MTA application components, multimode connectivity and lifecycle management features.

The new MTA application components are capable of a multitude of tasks including activity management, detailing, order entry, inventory lookup and call reporting, and can be easily configured to meet requirements of a specific user base. Key advantages of the new components are ease of use and a high degree of reusability between customers, according to Matt DiMaria, senior vice president of marketing and business development at Everypath.

Always-on, multimode connectivity ensures end users can take full advantage of wireless technology on their devices and can blend data from multiple sources in a single application for use on any device. This enhanced functionality makes Everypath’s MTA 5.0 a “more usable and compelling application,” said DiMaria.

Lifecycle management capability allows customers to bind MTA application components to existing enterprise applications, reducing the overall cost of ownership of the solution.

The enhanced solution is available now for $100,000. Everypath is targeting customers in the life sciences, consumer product and industrial product industries.

Everypath’s recently announced 2003 financial results reflected growth in the MTA market. The company said it recorded revenue growth of 350 percent in its North American and European business and 63-percent growth in its Asian operations, compared with 2002. Everypath attributed the growth to the addition of 25 new customers, repeat purchases from existing customers and a $14.3 million funding round closed in October 2003.
