Nextel partners with Major League Baseball

RESTON, Va.—Nextel Communications Inc. has partnered with Major League Baseball Advanced Media L.P., the interactive media and Internet company of MLB, to sponsor Nextel Direct Connect Live Event Chat on MLB.com.

The service will feature ongoing live chat events with baseball celebrities, allowing fans to chat live online with players, managers, owners and umpires.
