STOCKHOLM-L.M. Ericsson Inc. said it launched its Wireless Applications Validation Environment Laboratory technology initiative at the company’s U.S. headquarters in Richardson, Texas.
The initial project will show Ericsson’s Time Division Multiple Access-based enhanced data rate for global evolution solution, which will illustrate high-bandwidth mobile wireless applications at combined data rates up to 384 kilobits per second.
“It is also an opportunity for individuals to experience the advanced communications tools and resources that will be available to them in a few years,” said Bo Dimert, president and chief executive officer, Ericsson Inc.
