HOLLYWOOD, Calif.-Kyocera Corp. announced that its smart phone equipped with Sherwood Personal Security’s Mobile Security Protection will be the exclusive wireless handset in the Academy Awards Presenter’s Basket. The secure, protected smart phone has never before offered as a combined package and is valued at $1,499.
Kyocera said its smart phone combines the features of a personal digital assistant, phone, computer and entertainment center all in one small, lightweight clamshell package. The Palm Powered Kyocera 7135 smart phone features wireless e-mail, onboard MP3 player, voice-activated dialing, three modes of Web surfing, external caller ID, speakerphone, two-way text messaging, Palm applications and a photo suite.
Sherwood Personal Security added its mobile security and identity theft protection package, BodEGuard, featuring PDA Defense Professional.
