Mexico agency may auction two television networks, Reforma Says

Mexico’s Federal Telecommunications Commission is studying holding an auction to create two new national television networks in digital format, the Mexico City daily Reforma reported.

Rafael del Villar, a commissioner for the agency known as Cofetel, said in an interview that the bidding process for the new networks may be made public in the second half of this year, Reforma reported.
