AT&T subscribers traveling in Canada can now take their LTE service with them. The carrier says it has a roaming agreement with Canada’s Rogers Communications. AT&T says the Rogers LTE network reaches 70% of all the people in Canada, and 95 new markets are being added this year. For its part Rogers says it will be the first Canadian carrier to offer its customers roaming in the United States.
In other mobile news, Square has improved its credit and debit card reader. It says the new device should result in fewer swiping errors. The new reader is thinner than the old one and will work with ore mobile devices.
