APEX, N.C.-SmartLink Development L.P. selected Midland Mobile Radio Ltd. to represent its interests outside the United States and Canada, said the company.
“By signing Midland Mobile Radio Ltd., we have expanded our global reach with a widely recognized active and successful company, which has 150 dealers worldwide,” said Bob Wise, SmartLink’s manager of international sales. “Because of Midland’s familiarity with land mobile products, the time needed to train their salespeople on SmartLink products and SMRLink and LTR-Net technology will be minimal.”
SmartLink recently announced a licensing agreement with Transcrypt International for the LTR-Net protocol.
