LOS ANGELES-Telemac Corp. said it has expanded its technology development and marketing
agreement with Brite Voice Systems Inc. for exclusive distribution of the company’s BriteStar System in
Europe.
BriteStar is a prepaid program consisting of Telemac prepaid technology and Brite prepaid and service
management solutions, said Telemac.
The new arrangement follows the success with Cellnet, a wireless carrier in
the United Kingdom affiliated with British Telecommunications plc. Since its launch in July, more than 600,000
Telemac-enabled Philips Diga prepaid handsets have been sold, said Telemac.
