SANTA CLARA, [email protected] Inc., an application service provider for wireless carriers and Internet content providers, and GTE Wireless announced they will offer Internet content from Infospace, Starbucks, Weather.com, LinksTime.com and UV115.com to select GTE Wireless subscribers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
GTE Wireless subscribers can customize how they retrieve their Web content through a GTE-branded portal site operated by @mobile.
@mobile also said it is working with Yahoo! to conduct a limited trial that will enable selected GTE Wireless users to access their personalized My Yahoo! content through their GTE Wireless phones.
