Infrastructure Awards: NSN gains deals in Germany, Qatar, Channel Islands

The following are infrastructure contracts announced during the past week:

Nokia Siemens Networks
Channel Islands: With Sure to expand the carrier’s 3G network to include Guernsey.
Value: Undisclosed
Germany: With Telefonica O2 to expand the carrier’s network capacity across the country, including network implementation, project management and logistics. The contract includes an extension of the pair’s existing contract for 2G and 3G technology.
Value: Undisclosed
Qatar: With Qatar Telecom to upgrade the carrier’s 3G network for a transition to HSPA+ and LTE technology. The contract includes a network management system to monitor, manage and optimize the network.
