WESTBORO, Mass.-AT&T Wireless and Switchboard Inc. reported an agreement to add Switchboard’s Nearbuy locally targeted e-marketing solution to AT&T Wireless’ Digital PocketNet Service. Nearbuy Merchandising is designed to allow users to search the inventory of local stores for items.
“Ultimately, people shop locally for items, not stores,” said Ben Paul, president of Switchboard’s Nearbuy Merchandising group. “Our work with AT&T Wireless will now allow all AT&T Digital PocketNet users to search the shelves of local retailers for the precise items they want to buy.”
