KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Korean CDMA wireless data modem provider Yiso Telecom Co. Ltd. will provide a third-generation compatible Compact Flash card solution to Sprint PCS.
The wireless modem cards will support both data and voice with 3G 1xRTT technology to leverage high-speed packet data and voice capacity improvements, according to Sprint PCS. The cards can be used for personal digital assistants with a Type II Compact Flash slot and laptops with PCMCIA Type II adapters.
