KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Sprint Corp. and AT&T Wireless completed the exchange of 10 megahertz blocks of personal communications services spectrum covering approximately 18.5 million potential customers under an agreement announced by both companies in November 2000.
The spectrum exchange included AT&T Wireless acquiring additional capacity in San Francisco; Seattle; West Palm Beach and Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Austin, Texas; Salt Lake City; and San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Sprint received spectrum in Atlanta; Houston; Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro, N.C.; Memphis, Tenn.; Santa Fe, N.M.; and Cleveland.
