Movers and Shakers

NewBay Software – Eric Porck and Dan Coyle have been appointed director of U.S operations and director of business development, respectively. Porck has held technology leadership roles at such companies as AvenueA and Washington Mutual. Prior to joining the NewBay team, Coyle worked at SEVEN, managing the company’s strategic relationship with AT&T Mobility.
Qualcomm – Rocco Fabiano has been chosen to serve as president of Firethorn, the company’s mobile commerce subsidiary. Fabiano brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to Firethorn.
Aurora Networks – Pirjo Tuomi has been selected to act as vice president of worldwide sales. Tuomi has worked in the telecom industry for 20 years, having held positions at Nortel, BigBand Networks and Vello Systems.
MTV Networks – Heather Hopkins will assume the role of lead marketing and sales development, while Suzanne McDonnell will serve as senior vice president of the Digital Fusion unit.
Incognito Software – Roy Kraft and Hector Villalvazo have joined the global sales team. Kraft will serve as sales director, North America East, and Villalvazo will take on the role of pre-sales manager for Mexico, Caribbean and Central America.
