LONDON-NEC Corp. and Siemens AG said they have completed the first phase of a European commercial 3G radio network for Hutchison 3G UK, which trades as 3.
Both companies are supplying 3 UK’s radio access network and radio network controller equipment in London and Southern England.
“NEC and Siemens have developed an unrivalled track record in implementing 3G network solutions worldwide,” said Ben Nakamura, senior vice president at NEC.
