The video door entry system, which will be available in January, uses a touchscreen monitor and a smartphone app to enable residents to interact with guests and visitors with keyless Bluetooth entry and digital keys creating a frictionless occupant experience and while offering a more secure means for accessing properties.
The Bluetooth entry technology is unlike other video door systems and recognizes residents as they approach the system based on proximity, enabling them to enter the building automatically in a matter of seconds.

Through its smartphone app, which is compatible with any mobile Android/iOS app, and facial recognition technology, the system enables residents to unlock doors from anywhere in the world and video chat with visitors remotely while monitoring the entry and exit of guests when away.
Residents can manage their visitors and packages from anywhere, while property managers can communicate with residents and gain visibility into building activity in real time.?
Unlike existing intercoms systems which require either code entry of fobs, the new solution offers hand-free entry making it easier to enter when carrying groceries and other items.
The product’s deployment cost is significantly lower than other multi-family intercom systems and sold through low voltage dealers. Installation requires low voltage power and internet access via an Ethernet or cellular connection.?
The hardware is priced competitively to other video intercoms. MVI charges a software subscription fee that varies depending upon the amenities.
