Cellular
–Uruguay: L.M. Ericsson said it has been chosen by ANTEL to supply equipment for the carrier’s dual 2G/3G core network modernization program.
Wi-Fi
–Europe: T-Home, a division of Deutsche Telekom AG, tapped Ruckus Wireless to supply 802.11a Wi-Fi systems for in-home wireless distribution of its Entertain Comfort IPTV service.
Miscellaneous
–North America: TerreStar Networks Inc. said it chose Accenture to help it build its all IP fourth-generation wireless network.
