Sean Kinney, Managing Editor of RCR Wireless News and Enterprise IoT Insights and Jeff Mucci, CEO of RCR Wireless News and Enterprise IoT Insights and Head of Industry Insights & Research kick off the Enterprise IoT Summit in Austin, Texas, discussing Technology and Digital Transformation.
Jeff Mucci said that the main goal of the Enterpris IoT Summit is to providing a practical guide to operators and companies willing to implement a digital transformation process using Internet of Things and 5G technologies.
“Digital transformation with Internet of Things technology is complex and the Enterprise is struggling with how to do it, what’s the business model and how to secure the data,” Mucci said.
Sean Kinney focuses on multiple subject areas including DAS, small cells, cloud computing, 5G and Internet of Things vertical applications. Sean also hosts RCRtv’s HetNet Happenings web show focused on physical infrastructure. Sean and wife Katherine live in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He studied journalism and literature at the University of Mississippi then spent six years based in Key West, Florida, working as a reporter for the Miami Herald Media Company.
Jeff Mucci is CEO & Head of Industry Insights and Research of RCR Wireless News. He is also the Managing Partner, Arden Operating Company, owner of RCR Wireless News, which was acquired from Crain Communications in 2009, and Telecomcareers, a leading industry job board founded in 1999. Over the past 20 years Jeff has been involved in many facets of running day-to-day operations for telecom, wireless, commercial real estate and energy services companies. He has raised over $300 million of debt and equity for companies in which he has been involved. Previous roles include Chairman and CEO of ConnectSouth, a regional DSL company: President of a facilities based CLEC; SVP Sales and Marketing for Clearwire; and Director of a nationwide BLEC representing over 100 million square feet of commercial real estate
