iLoop buys InAphone

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Mobile application software company iLoop Mobile said it acquired Danish mobile content company InAphone A/S. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ILoop said the InAphone purchase solidified an existing strategic partnership between the companies and extends its geographic reach into Europe, where InAphone’s Content Management System and Gateway are used by a variety of European enterprises and content owners. In addition, iLoop said it gains direct gateway connections to several European wireless carriers and aggregators through the purchase.

ILoop said it plans to integrate InAphone’s core technology to offer a complete text messaging, WAP mobile Internet and content management solution on a single platform.
