IRVINE, Calif.—Mericom Corp. said it is closing three regional offices and Bill D’Agostino, the company’s president and chief executive officer, has elected to leave Mericom to pursue other interests.

Mericom’s founder, Robert Lopez, will replace D’Agostino.

The company’s regional offices in Atlanta, Dallas and St. Louis will be closed, but its headquarters in Irvine, Calif., and regional offices in Portland, Ore., Sacramento, Calif., and Portland, Maine, will still operate. Mericom will have approximately 275 employees post-restructuring.

Mericom also announced it secured $5 million in second-round financing from an affiliate of Tregan Partners L.P. and Lopez.
