Donahue buys block of Nextel shares

RESTON, Va.—Nextel Communications Inc. chief executive officer Tim Donahue picked up 20,000 shares of company stock on Feb. 26 at $4.84 per share, according to an U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Including the approximately $96,000 purchase, Donahue held 62,000 Nextel shares at the end of February.
