BUNDANG, Korea-Korean systems integrator Posdata and ArrayComm L.L.C. announced an agreement that calls for Posdata to incorporate ArrayComm’s smart antenna software in its high-performance base station.
The companies said the agreement should lead to improvements in system range, capacity and coverage for 802.16e networks. ArrayComm’s research and development team is working together with Posdata’s Korean and U.S. research and development groups on system development.
Work on WiBRO products has already started with availability planned for the fourth quarter. The companies expect commercial availability of mobile WiMAX products shortly after.
