AR and AI in the enterprise: Staying abreast of the smart technology revolution

The executive said that the main goal of SparkCognition is to build the world’s most advanced cognitive platform for ensuring the reliability, efficiency and security of the Industrial internet. “We took out automated model building technology and started to tackle the problem of machine failure in very large industries.”
The executive also highlighted that cyber physical security requires a product like SparkPredict. This solution enables predictive capabilities that can deliver billions of dollars in cost savings and operational efficiency improvements to machine operators. SparkPredict learns from sensor data, identifies impending failures long before they occur and alerts operators to sub-optimal operation before it can cause any harm.
Husain also said that the firm’s DeepArmour solution is fully cognitive anti-malware system, which leverages machine learning, natural language processing and AI algorithms to analyze files and provide signature-free security. SparkSecure adds a cognitive layer to traditional security solutions, increasing the operational efficiency and knowledge retention of the companies’ incident response and security analyst teams.
Some of SparkCognition’s customers include GE, Duke Energy, Invenergy, Honeywell, the London Stock Exchange, Flowserve and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, among others.
Amir Husain, recognized as Austin’s Top Technology Entrepreneur of the Year and Onalytica’s Top 100 global Artificial Intelligence influencers, is a serial entrepreneur and inventor based in Austin, Texas. In 2013, a low cost computing platform Amir invented was inducted into the collection of the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, the world’s largest such institution. His work has also been published in IEEE conferences and in leading tech journals including Network World, Computer World and others. His companies have won numerous awards such as the 2015 Austin Chamber of Commerce A-List, the InnovateApp 2014 competition, the VMWORLD Gold award, Network World’s Hottest Products, CRN’s Innovation award and PC World’s best product award.
