| Mobile Minute: The Mobile Minute is sponsored by SpiderCloud Wireless. BlackBerry says that the upcoming version of its mobile operating system will include direct access to the roughly 200,000 Android apps available in Amazon’s app store. The deal is meant to close some of the “app gap” between BlackBerry and its larger rivals. iTunes and the Google Play store each have more than a million apps. BlackBerry says it will also offer third party music and video through Amazon. The announcement comes just as Amazon is preparing to launch a new device, widely believed to be a smartphone. |
