Happy New Year and welcome to the first 2014 edition of cell tower news. We cover top-level industry stories, DAS and regional/local news. Things might be a little slower due to the holidays, but that hasn’t stopped Inside Tower from giving a helpful list of the biggest tower climbing mistakes.   • Residents in Jackson, Ohio have spoken out against a proposed cell tower.
  • Verizon are looking to increase their 4G coverage in Russells Point, Ohio.
  • A new cell tower could soon pierce the sky above western Kent County, Delaware.
  • A cell tower almost twice the height allowed by village code is being proposed for a Channahon, Illinois neighborhood.
  • 2014 job growth to ramp up in the Palm Beach County, Florida area due to expansion from SBA Communications.
