Solavei first to offer BlackBerry Z10 in the U.S.

BlackBerry’s attempt to re-infuse the market will get some help from T-Mobile USA mobile virtual network operator partner Solavei, which said it will be the first domestic company to offer BlackBerry’s Z10 device. The company is currently offering the smartphone contract-free for $999, with shipments leaving with two days.

Previously, the Z10 was only available in the United Kingdom and Canada, with U.S. sales not expected until mid-March. Research In Motion recently changed its name to BlackBerry following the launch of the Z10 last month.

Solavei, which launched last September, said it has already attracted 120,000 customers with its $49 per month, unlimited voice, messaging and data plan. The company said it incentivizes customers to bring on new members using social media by providing “member commissions” of up to $20 per month for every three new customers that sign up for service. Customers can garner free service if they bring on nine new customers.
