PHILADELPHIA – With the explosion in data services beginning to take its toll on traditional cellular networks, companies that specialize in solutions designed to relieve that pressure have become sought after in the mobile space.
At the recent RCR Wireless News Mobile Broadband Global Tour stop in Philadelphia, Tim Brophy, consulting systems engineer talks about Aruba Networks Inc., provided some insight into the company’s offload capabilities.
Brophy noted that Aruba’s indoor/outdoor offering can provided a customizable and scalable Wi-Fi solution that allows for spectrum load balancing as well as device “finger printing” that allows operators to see what sort of devices are accessing its network and fine tune what sort of backhaul or wireless connection would be best to service those needs.
