China’s Huawei Technologies has been awarded a contract to roll out 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network infrastructure for Hong Kong cellcos Hutchison (3) and PCCW via their 50/50 joint venture Genius Brand. Huawei revealed yesterday that the contract includes a turnkey installation of equipment including base stations, according to TelecomAsia.
