Computex 2011: Chinmore Industry shows off its antennas

TAIPEI, Taiwan – While Computex may famously be the most famous computer show of the IT industry, the world of wireless is certainly having an effect on the Taipei trade show. Nothing says wireless more than antennas, of which a plethora were to be found in the Taipei World Trade Center.

Local company Chinmore Industry Co., established in 1988, is just one of the firms taking a stand at the show this year, claiming itself to be one of the leading export manufacturers of wireless communication antennas.

Tim Wang the firm’s general manager explained that the progression of wireless technologies in the mobile sector, including those that will be embedded in transportation, has been a key factor to the development and structure of the business over the last 10 years.

The company is dedicated to improving reception in weaker signal areas, which he said is an expertise that also benefits outdoor WiMax facilities, of which Taipei boasts quite a few.

The company told press and passers by that its mission is to achieve the best performance on the market by adopting advanced R&D methodologies including VTVM meters and acoustic measuring systems.

ISO 9001 standards are a strict part of Chinmore’s development process and substantial testing is conducted during the development and production process with highly accurate analysis machines, according to Wang.

Wang also explained that Chinmore is an extremely flexible company capable of making any antenna the customer requires.  The firm certainly appears to have a very impressive global portfolio of customers, and Wang says the company is quick to adapt to market trends.
