Mobile ad spending in China to surpass $1B by 2014

Mobile ad spending in China is expected to jump to $448.7 million this year, according to a new report from eMarketer. Continuing on a tremendous growth pattern that outpaces the U.S. market, China’s mobile ad market is expected to more than double to $1.16 billion in the next three years.
By 2015, China is expected to drive $1.38 billion in mobile ads. India is expected to reach $56 million in mobile ad spending while Brazil and Russia are projected to come in at $23.8 million and $20 million, respectively.
