Rolling out both a cloud-based offering and opening Colombia offices are among French software provider Dassault Systemes’ Latin American priorities this year, the company’s regional president, Marcelo Lemos, told BNamericas.
The French firm recently introduced its cloud solutions in markets such as the US. Lemos said no release date has been set for Latin America, but the offering will be made available by December.
“Initially, we will focus more on smaller and medium-sized companies rather than large enterprises,” he said.
Meanwhile, the French firm is responding to sustained sales growth in Colombia with plans to establish a direct presence in that country by Q2. Lemos said the office will support operations in other countries such as Ecuador and Venezuela.
