Teleste | January 25, 2011 | Press Release

  • The agreement focuses on business solutions for cable and telecom operators
  • Teleste is an international technology group specialising in broadband video and data communication systems and services.

Teleste and the Spanish company Ikusi have reached a collaboration agreement for the Spanish and Latin American markets. This collaboration will bring together the potential of the two companies with over 50 years experience in the electronic equipment market for processing video and audio signals and the development of solutions for telecommunications services.

Teleste will bring to the collaboration its proven offering of next-generation solutions for digital video, IPTV and broadband communication while Ikusi will provide the collaboration with its extensive service capabilities and geographic coverage, both in the Spanish and Latin America markets.
The agreement highlights the strategic importance of the cable and telecommunication operators segment for both of the companies.

Through this collaboration, Ikusi and Teleste will provide an offering which brings together the solutions and services from two of the major European vendors in the telecommunications sector.

Despite their very different geographical origins, the two companies have similar business backgrounds and cultures. Based on this framework of cooperation, new solutions and service models will be developed that increase the value proposition of the Operators for their customers.
