Convergys launched a solution that helps address mobile ‘bill shock’ for customers. The Smart Rating and Billing Manager 5.0 product allows customers to set pre-set usage limits on their communications and utility usage to avoid unexpected charges.
Sprint customers will soon have the option to attach ZTE PEEL to their Apple iPod touch to allow them to connect to Sprint’s 3G network. The product will be available Nov. 14 for $80 and a $30 monthly service plan.
Jelli launched its Jelli iPhone application that gives users the ability to control what gets played on the FM radio or streamed live through the application. Jelli users vote for their favorite artists and songs to create a dynamic playlist that determines in real time what will play online and on FM radio stations.
Qualcomm Inc. announced its Mobile Health Information System project, which delivers information to health care workers using 3G wireless technology and commercially available mobile devices. The company announced the project through its Wireless Reach initiative.
