MMA lines up Jamie Foxx for Mobile Marketing Forum keynote

With exactly two weeks to go until the Mobile Marketing Forum kicks off in Beverly Hills, Calif., Jamie Foxx has been lined up as the keynote speaker.
Foxx will talk about strategies and business opportunities for mobile entertainment, the Mobile Marketing Association said in its announcement.
“With the widespread growth of digital media and importance of content distribution, there is a tremendous opportunity for Hollywood and the entertainment industry to take advantage of the mobile channel with innovative new business models,” Foxx said in a prepared statement. “The interactivity and customization that mobile provides will change how movies and entertainment media are made, marketed, and distributed, and I am excited to be a leading part of an event that will help bridge the entertainment industry with the leaders of the mobile revolution.”
Greg Stuart, CEO at MMA, said: “One look at the work he’s already done, it is clear that Jamie Foxx understands mobile and the impact mobile and digital media is having on consumer communications and the opportunity for value creation for consumers and businesses alike. Having one of the world’s highest-profile entertainment industry celebrities open our event is a tremendous honor, both to our industry and the MMA membership.”
The Mobile Marketing Forum takes places Nov. 17.
