For $30 to $50 per month, MetroPCS Communications Inc. will offer residents of Jacksonville, Florida, its unlimited voice and data plan.
MetroPCS’ signature “no signed contract” applies, the company said, and the plans allow Jacksonville residents to use the service throughout Florida.
The Dallas-based company suggested that its offering could allow Jacksonville residents to cancel landline service.
MetroPCS already has 35 brick-and-mortar locations in Jacksonville’s Duvall County and plans to add another 45 locations by year’s end, according to the company.
MetroPCS has 4.4 million subscribers nationwide, the company said.
