The following list includes venture capital and other investments into wireless companies announced during the past week. The value of the investment is included when available.
Bubble Motion: Sequoia Capital US and Sequoia Capital India participated in a $14 million round of funding into Bubble Motion, which provides voice SMS solutions. New investors Comcast Interactive and NCD Investors also participated. The company said it will use the funding to further develop its BubbleTALK platform. As part of the financing, Deepak Sindwani, principal at Comcast Interactive Capital, has joined Bubble Motion’s board of directors.
Viva Vision: Medical Capital Corp. invested $2 million into Viva Vision, a content and applications provider for mobile entertainment.
