Google Inc. just keeps making things better for Apple Inc. iPhone users who want their Google fix. The search juggernaut has launched a new Web-based iPhone interface optimized for Google’s Picasa photo service.
iPhone users who go to the Picasa Web site will be treated to a new interface optimized to play with the touchscreen and user interface of the device. When iPhone users access Picasa on the Safari Web browser it automatically detects their device and pulls up the unique interface. Google has already launched a similar platform for its Web-based calendar application.
The Picasa interface introduces a search for photos in albums or throughout the community and allows for settings to be saved online.
