Faith West is targeting mobile game publishers with new technology designed to improve gaming audio.
The U.S.-based division of Japan’s Faith Inc. unveiled mXMFTool, an open-standard technology for developers of ringtones, games and other applications. The San Francisco-based company is bundling the offering with a library of 125 royalty-free, audio sound effects including animal noises, human actions, sports effects and vehicle noises.
“Increasingly, we’ve found that customers want to include more and more sophisticated audio in their applications,” said Faith West Director Haruko Kurata, “and mXMFTool allows developers to make highly creative use of their limited resources.”
