Just six weeks after the company debuted, mywaves has launched a new, free personalized mobile video search to accompany its mobile video service, which the company said has already clocked 300,000 users in 90 countries. Mywaves said its new Auto Channels service provides a new way for users to personalize their selection of mobile video content on their mobile device.
After users specify a search phrase, Auto Channels scours the Web for relevant videos and delivers them to a user’s handset via customized streaming channels that each user creates. Users can also be notified of new videos available for viewing via a text message. The company says the enhanced search capabilities integrated with mywaves service will further promote its mobile video offerings.
“The addition of Auto Channels further enhances the user’s experience because now mywaves does all the work of content discovery on users’ behalf,” mywaves Founder and CEO Rajeev Raman said.
