IceBreaker Inc. is hoping to lure would-be lovers with an anonymous matchmaking application for cellphones.
The company launched “Crush or Flush,” a downloadable offering that allows users to create profiles, browse images of other members and chat with mutual crushes. The application is free-IceBreaker said it will “eventually charge a small monthly fee” for the chat service-aside from carrier data charges.
“Crush or Flush is the ideal way for busy people to make connections rather than being tied to their computer and playing the e-mail tag game,” said IceBreaker CEO Michael Robinson. “Half the fun is the search and initial romance of finding someone with whom you click.”
