One-third of women use advanced wireless services

LOS ANGELES-More than two-thirds of women said they use cellular phones, and one-third said they use the advanced features on their phones, according to a survey by Women in Technology International, IDC and Intel Corp.

More than half of the women surveyed named home networking products, and one-quarter named Wi-Fi technology as favorite tools for increasing their efficiencies.

WITI, IDC and Intel released findings of the survey at WITI’s 11th Annual International Conference in Los Angeles.
